Computer Glitch

The server our web site is maintained on suffered some problems on July 26, reportedly due to one of the numerous “worms” that periodically makes its way around the internet.  Your event leaders have done a great job restoring events that were lost, but it’s up to you to make sure you are still RSVP’d for events.  If you submitted an RSVP between July 12-27, please make sure it’s still showing up on your RSVP list.

Events on Tap

School is starting but we're not stopping!  Check out the web site for these and other fantastic events.

Olympic Party

Fri 8/13/2004   6:00PM

It's opening night of the Olympics, let's have a party. We'll start with our own torch ceremony, play some unique Olympic games, have an awards ceremony, eat traditional Greek food, and then watch the opening ceremonies from Athens. Jennifer will make the food and games. BYOB.

Shag

Thu 8/19/2004   7:30PM

We’re going to join the Shag Group at Jillian's. This will be a chance for our members who were in the Dance Class to get out amongst 'em and show what they've learned. Come one! Come All!  Dance Class attendance is not required, but if you’ve got 2 left feet it’s recommended.

Tubing and Camping

Fri 8/20/2004   4:00PM

Tubing, swimming, hiking and camping on Deep Creek! Whitewater is also available! Tubes are $4/day. $24 includes the shared cost of the campground + help us pay for incidentals-firewood, starter, charcoal, citronella, paper/plastics, etc. This is a tenting site. There is a bathhouse. If you need or are willing to share a tent, post it at your RSVP.

Bluegrass Outback

Thu 8/26/2004   7:30PM

El Burrito has Bluegrass Music out back in their parking lot on Thursdays. AND they have great food! AND beer by the Bucket! Bring a lawn chair. Look for The Yellow Happy Face Balloon on our Table.

The Sequel: Big Mo 2

Fri 9/10/2004   6:30PM

The COLA Club goes back to the drive-in, where the movies are first-run, the concessions are cheap, and the air is fresh and clean. We'll meet at a central location and caravan down to Monetta to see not one, but two movies to be determined. We had a lot of fun the last time we were here, so this time shouldn't be any different.
