Pepper Party

You should have come to the Pepper Party if you wanted all the hot stuff. Not gonna mention the sultry love letter, the naughty Devil’s Tongue, the grand safari to Pelion, or what was under the bubbles, not to mention the German wine fest, Pierre the French Fighter Pilot, cheesecake with a special ingredient, your pot of herbs, and the genetics of Neanderthals…I will tell you, however, that a blender is not a food processor.

Last Camping of the Season

It was not that cold. It was beautiful; the weather was perfect, the trees were still in fabulous fall colors, the sun was shining. We hiked, made beef stew (ok, we watched Glenn make beef stew), had a delicious hot strawberry shortcake for dessert, Glenn even brought chafing dishes! Sat in the hot tubs and just had a nice, relaxing weekend that was not nearly as cold as I expected. That’s all ‘til next year!

Families Helping Families

Wow, what a great event that turned out to be! I was worried that it would be too much work, or hard work, and that the time would drag by. I was wrong, it was great! As at all COLA Club events, we had fun, but we managed to help a lot of people. I’ll do it again, next year, too! This is a wonderful charity effort with all the money going directly to the people who need it.
