What You May Have Missed
Edisto Weekend
What a View! There is nothing more beautiful than paddling down a river with the blue sky and sun shining above and this past weekend definitely delivered. Corey is truly an awesome Wonder Guide.
I enjoyed the trip very much. It was nice to hang out with everyone. I appreciated the opportunity to improve my skills in both canoeing and kayaking. I will certainly participate in the next river trip.
What an experience! My first time paddling and I didn’t fall in the water!! I had a great time with everyone and can’t wait to go again!
Thank you all for coming to the cabin and playing with me on the Edisto River. You guys and gals were a lot of fun. Thanks Tifanne for sharing the music and your wonderful voice with us. I enjoyed your singing. We will have to do that trip again in the spring.
The Solitary Man
We had a really good time at Tipsy Toad listening to Casey, The Solitary Man. The food was very good, the service also! I think Kari knew all the songs! Tom did a little singing himself. It scared Casey! He heard someone off key...thought it was him!!
For all of you who missed it, it was great. We had a great time of dancing, singing, and making merry. The COLA Club was the hit of the place. If we would have had 30 of our members there we could have taken over the whole place, (that is if we wanted to do so). Louise spent quite a lot of time dancing with Santa. You missed a fun night.
Housewarming Party
Had a lovely time at the housewarming party at Dennis and Leslie’s house. Pictures are on ofoto.com to see the lovely Christmas decorations. It was an awesome turnout and an awesome time with friends old and new! Can’t wait to have another party again - although we’ll need a break after this one!
Festivus
It was great seeing everyone. I look forward to the next gathering. I can’t remember the last time we had that many COLA Club members in one place. Thumb wrestling was quite serious! I wish I had gotten some close ups of the Contestants. You could see Radek's veins on his neck!! Christina threw one of the guys on the ground!! ... With her thumb!! And Ali proved to be quite the athlete! The Elaine dancers were good! Great contest there! The airing of grievances worked out really good! Hilarious! The FOOD! YUM!! The Pez, the TV shows, fire, the grill...Everything was Fabulous! You can see photos at Ofoto.com
New Year’s Eve – Capital City Club
Just starting to rest up from the New Year’s Eve party at the Capital City Club. We had a great time. We saw the fireworks, had dinner with a singing waiter and then did some dancing before ringing in the New Year. Thanks to Glen and Christine for hosting the event.
New Year’s Eve – Tom’s Cabin
I think we all had a lot of fun at Tom’s for New Years! We saw some great fireworks too.....had to dodge a few, but they were very pretty! We also played a new game called ImaginIff that was a lot of fun! Tom was also a gracious host. More food than we could eat. We’ll have to have another party to eat it up! Oh! And Tom! Thanks for that wonderful bottle of $45 wine! WOW! Was it good! Brent brought a new game that was a ton of fun! I will post the photos soon! Happy New Year to everyone!!
